Travelling from Ely to London Stansted Airport? Find My Cab quotes for the outward trip and collections back to Ely. Send your pickup address, travel date, flight details, passenger count and luggage so we can discuss the price and vehicle for your booking.
Start with the time you need to be at the airport, not just the time your flight leaves. For the return, agree where and when you will meet your driver before you travel.
Request a Stansted transfer. You can also call 01353 376500 during office hours. Outside office hours, call 07904 005014 or send your details on WhatsApp until midnight.
Planning your pickup in Ely
Give us the full collection address and tell us if you want to collect another passenger on the way. If you are staying at a hotel or visiting Ely, include the hotel name and address rather than just “Ely”.
Check your airline's check-in and bag-drop times first. Stansted's official check-in guidance recommends validating your boarding pass at security at least two hours before your scheduled departure, and says to check the latest check-in times with your airline. That is time at the airport, not a driving-time estimate from Ely.
Include your required airport arrival time in the enquiry. Traffic and the starting address affect the trip, so discuss the pickup time with us rather than relying on a single journey duration.
Coming back from Stansted to Ely
For a return collection, send the arrival date, flight number, scheduled landing time and your destination address in Ely. Tell us about checked bags too: landing is not the same as being ready to leave the terminal.
Agree the collection time, meeting point and how to contact each other. If your travel plans change, get in touch to discuss the booking rather than assuming the pickup has changed automatically.
Stansted has designated collection and drop-off areas. Check the airport's current pickup and drop-off information and confirm the meeting point with us. Do not assume the return collection will be in the same place as your outbound drop-off.
What to include for a Stansted quote
- Full Ely pickup address and travel date.
- Flight number and departure time, plus when you need to be at the airport.
- For a collection, the arrival date, landing time and destination address.
- Number of passengers, cases and any bulky items.
- Any extra collection, stop or return trip.
- A contact number for discussing the arrangements.
Use the message field on the booking request form for flight details and luggage. Before confirming, ask what the quoted price covers, including any airport parking or pickup charges and any waiting arrangements. We quote for the actual trip; there is no single published fare for every Ely-to-Stansted booking.
Card, cash and bank transfer are accepted. Confirm payment arrangements with us when booking.
A vehicle for your passengers and bags
Our cars carry up to four passengers, or the van up to eight, subject to luggage fit. A full passenger group with large cases needs different space from the same group travelling with hand luggage. Tell us about pushchairs and other bulky items before agreeing the vehicle.
The Find My Cab fleet includes Lexus ES300h, Peugeot Expert and Mercedes-Benz V-Class vehicles. The model for your trip depends on availability and is confirmed when booking.
We do not have a ramp-equipped vehicle. Discuss any access requirements before booking so you can check whether the available vehicle will suit you.
Early flights and late returns
Our taxi service operates 24 hours, subject to availability. Arrange an early departure or late collection before you travel; this does not mean every contact channel is staffed overnight. The landline is for office hours, with mobile and WhatsApp contact available outside office hours until midnight.
Sending a request is not a confirmed booking. Agree availability, price and collection details with us.
